Information to bring to your bankruptcy consultation

If you are considering filing for bankruptcy, you should bring the following documents to your free consultation:

1.) 3-6 months of paystubs;

2.) past two (2) years of income tax returns;

3.) If you own real property, you will need the property tax statement or appraisal; all recorded deeds, mortgages, or land contracts; and your most current mortgage statement;

4.) For all motor vehicles, you will need the title; vehicle purchase agreement or lease; and proof of insurance.

5.) three (3) months of bank and/or credit union statements;

6.) divorce judgment(s), if applicable;

7.) lawsuit information for all suits against you;

8.) any outstanding debt that is not reflected on your credit report (such as medical bills).
